How can I make myself look more mature? I do dress age appropriate but I am still told I look like I'm in my early twenties.

I haven't been very successful in the corporate world due to the fact that I appear to be wet behind of the ears even when I'm not.

Don't you just hate that. I have 2 kids. One is almost 20 and people think I am a teenager. Service people have come to my house and asked if my Mom or Dad was here. You should see the look I get when I say this is my house.

Interesting. I would like to know what is considered "age appropriate" for someone in their mid 30s.

If you hair is really blue like your avatar, changing that would be a start.

Why do you want to look your age? Age is just a number, right?

Don't worry about looking older. you will look older in time. It is a compliment for people to think that you are younger than you actually are. Do you know how many people wish they were in your shoes. I like that people think that I am younger than 31 because it means that when I am 51 I will still look good.

I understand very well how you feel. I was the same way in my 30's. I once had someone ask my date if she was my mom, we are the same age. It might not seem that way right now, but you Will enjoy looking younger later in life.

Please take this as a blessing. You will in your 40's and beyond....I promise you!

Take it from a 49 year old, who while still looks good for her age, she can't get a date because there is always someone younger. Even with men older than me, they want the young ones.

Oh, dear lady, enjoy your youthful appearance while you can. It catches up with you later on and then you wish you could find some way to look younger.

Start hitting the bottle....HARD.

Try holding your face over a pot of steaming onions each night for 15 minutes.

Hang around with chainsmokers and let them exhale on your face.

Tie small weights to your boobs to get them to droop.

Draw vericose veins on your legs with permanant markers.

Hope this helps!

Be thankful you look younger than you are. It's a blessing. A few years from now, you'll be wishing you still looked that young... Enjoy it while you've got it.
