The best weekend in sports is the Divisional playoff weekend when your four bye teams play their first game. That saturday and sunday is heaven.
College is good too but I get tired of see the team that planned their schedule the best win instead of the best team. No team from the SEC has won a title in 10 years, but look around in the NFL and tell me that there wasnt a team that could have won one.
Playoff, championship game, champion. Hey the steelers were a 6 seed last year. How exciting would it be to see a team like say fla st., michigan st. or even a smaller program like louisville or byu go on a 2/3 game run. Imagine that.
NFL. Hands down.
College is just minor league football anyways and yes those players should be getting paid. At least a part of the jerseys sales that have the number that THEY MAKE FAMOUS.

I prefer College Football, and one of the main reasons why is the pure passion that you get in the college game.
You don't get quite the same passion in the NFL as you do in college because the rivalries aren't the same. In the NFL you play teams in your division multiple times a season, while in college, it's one game for bragging right for the next 365 days. Nothing like Alabama/Auburn, Ohio State/Michigan, Army/Navy, etc. You don't get those kind of rivalries in the NFL.

College hands down, as someone mentioned above, because the kids play a lot more for the pure love of the game. They go all out every play of every game. It's a lot more intense and about the game. There's nothing better than college football season. And I have to say I am pleased to see some more OSU fans answering this question. Watch out Texas, its payback time this Saturday. GO BUCKS!!

The NFL is more fun to watch on TV because a) superstars like Peyton Manning, b) the games tend to be closer, and c) there are fantasy football implications. But for going to a live game and tailgating, the atmosphere for college games is much better.

College because of this reason. College kids go ALL out every single play, and play because of the of the love of football. Pros (like all professional sports) is all about money. If you lose one game in college your season is pretty much over as far as winning the championship. In the NFL you could lose many games and still have a chance to win the championship. College kids play to get money, pros already have the money and I don't think they go all out every single play (just ask Randy Moss. He only plays when he wants to play).
Plus the rivalry games make it better too!!

College, basically the crowds are bigger, louder and more passionate. The players are playing for fun, not for cash. Its just a purer more enjoyable form for the game. Albeit the skill level isnt up to the NFL but I like it a little better anyhow

College football. I really don't know why. I guess because they are still learning and making stupid mistakes. I like to watch that. It is more fun to guess who is going to win than with the NFL. I especially watch Notre Dame football.

College is REAL football because they try harder. EXAMPLES? Yes 1. Randy Moss not trying on every play. only when he knows its coming to him.
2. Players running out of bounds instead of lowering their head and banging out 3-5 extra yards like college players do.
3. MONEY..nuff said there
4. contracts..see # 3
