Yes, a baby comes when it's ready... If the pregnancy goes for more than 9.5 months dr's will typically induce labor or do a c-section...

The longest I have heard of a pregnancy lasting is 10 months my mom when she had my older sister... She can pin point the exact day she had sex (dad was in the military and had a 1 day pass) and my sister was born 10 months later.. I know some of you will say my sister is not my fathers... guess again my sister had to have a kidney transplant and my father was the donor no questions about it she is genetically his.. the tests for the kidney confirmed it without a doubt..

Absolutely; first pregnancy is 40 weeks which is technically 9.5 - 10 months depending on when the 5 week months fall in your pregnancy. Being only a few weeks over (not at all uncommon) puts you into the 10th month, possibly close to 11! Congrats and good luck if this is for you?!

A full term baby is born at 40 weeks - that's 10 months. Then a lot of women are overdue a couple weeks so it could be 10 1/2 months.

Perhaps out of a substantial improvement in genetics and progesterone enhancement in uterus and spleens. If a couple ever decided to have a more than 9-months pregnancy they would have to modify their livers into conditional glands instead of mid-term regulators, and their genitals had injections of testosterone glycose (male) and progesterone limph (female).
This procedure is to make the couple more apt and willing for more sex and carry multiple childs at will probably, thus changing metabolism into fetal progression and neural evolution: 10 and a half months of pregnancy, according to my knowledge and analisys it should provide an enhanced baby, 15% smarter and 30% stronger.

Technically you are pregnant 40 weeks. You can go over by a week or two. Usually after 42 weeks it's more a matter of your due date being wrong.
