Have you had your heart checked lately? You have what is called Tachycardia. Are you dizzy?lightheaded? See your doctor he may do further testing to make sure your heart rhythm is ok. and maybe place you on something to control your heart rate. such as amiodarone.

Try this physical relaxation/meditation technique, assume a relaxed, comfortable position in a quite room with lights out or fairly dimmed. Close your eyes and inhale long and slow through your nose until your lungs are completely full then exhale equally slowly until your lungs are completely empty, pause and repeat. Longer sessions may be neccesary initially but as you progress 15 minutes a day should suffice. Through this method I have managed to get my heart rate below 50 bpm.

because of your age you might want to go see a doctor , as you get older your heart rate slows down compared to a 10 year old. High blood pressure can be caused by stress, try takin up golf or a hobby.
