Please Help!
Do you think I should capitalize "my cousin" in the sentence below?
Some of the malor influences came from my grandma.

No. You would only capitalize "cousin" or "grandma" when the word is used as a part of a name or in place of a name. For example, "I am going to visit Cousin Arthur." (part of the name) vs. "I am going to visit my cousin." "What are you doing, Cousin?"(used in place of the name.)

It becomes more clear when you are talking about "Grandma" vs. "grandma." For example, "I am going to visit Grandma Banks." (Part of the name) vs. I am going to visit my grandma."
or "I am going to visit Grandma." (in place of her name.)
