Totally. Should it really matter? It's 2006 for goodness sakes.
Would it be any better for the child to be brought up in care/childrens homes and eventually end up possibily in a bad situation. How many homeless people come from such a troubled background for example.
What difference does the sex make? So it's two same sex adults - get over it! Homosexuality isn't a barrier to being able to live, care and love someone in a completely normal way. I don't get a common misconception that if you are gay and want children it relates to being a paedophille. How does that one work (going off on a tangent to the question a bit).
If you can provide a good stable home for the child and be there for them and show the care and attention they need it makes no difference whatsoever.

Of course they should. Gay people have every right to raise children. People who think if gay people adopt and raise children, the children will become gay also should realise that a persons sexuality is inborn, they do not learn it from their parents. If gay couples were allowed to adopt it may help the next generation to be more tolerant of gay people which in turn could help to create a less homophobic society maybe leading to less hate filled crimes against gay people.

Absolutely. I know a gay couple that comes to my work who have recently adopted infant twins. They are two great people, and are wonderful fathers to these babies. I feel that as long as each couple goes through the same channels and checklists that other couples have to go through, they should absolutely be allowed to adopt if found to be good parents.

who knows if more Gay couples have kids then those kids may turn out to be more open minded and accepting of others differences.
It might make for a better world to have less narrow minded humans in it!

gays do not get married they form a civil partnership, and no they should not be allowed to adopt kids... if they want kids they should make them the way nature intended go with someone of the opposite sex!

Well I think they have nearly all the same rights as hetro married couples, so why not. Just cos they are gay don't mean they cannont be good parents. I know a few gay couples who have children and they dote on their kids. Their sexuality doesn't affect their personalities.

I can't believe there are actually people out there that feel that gays would make inferior parents. My guess is, these people have never formally met a gay person (and I say formally because, trust me, we ALL know someone who's gay, whether you know it or not...). I can't believe in this day and age, many of us are still living like we're in the 17th century.
In short...yes...if drug addicts and sex abusers are raising children all over the country, I'd have to say that children of gay parents are MUCH better off...

Well That is a very touchy subject..and i have a cousn that is gay and he is the most handsome and such a great guy,...that it is a shame for him not to have an offspring of himself..we have discussed this with him..and we think he should freeze his sperm and find someone to mate it with and have a SMother to incubate ..and he would have his own child...you look at him and you cannot tell he is Homosexuakl...Girls just seem to flock to him..but he is..Oh well.. so I think it depends on the person..

No. Sorry but adopted kids have enough to deal with in their future without that! Two women obviously cant produce their on kds ...therefore it aint natural!!!
