i have a mixed opinion on huntley. part of me thinks that he doesn't deserve the gift of life when he took two such innocent lives away, and therefore it is a shame that he didn't succeed in his suicide attempt, but i also feel that he doesn't deserve to have a way out- he should be made to live a very long and miserable life for what he has done. i certainly think that he should never see life away from prison as he is an absolute monster without a doubt, but i do think that he should suffer bitterley for what he has done as nothing ever will be able to take the pain away from the poor families of those little girls, who will be living a worse sentence every day of their lives than huntley can ever imagine.
i think that he deserves to be locked in an empty cell and left to starve. at least he would be really suffering, which i think is nothing short of what he deserves.

You'd be surprised how many people attempt to kill themsleves in prison. If he had managed to hoard drugs, that is a matter for the prison service to address.
It is the job of the prison staff to keep the inmates alive. I don't have a problem with someone killing themselves if they really want to, it's their decision, though it's always a tragedy when it happens.
Why should this man be treated any differently from anyone else? There's nothing special about him, he's just another prisoner.

My late father used to say that child abusers and murderers like Huntley should be thrown to a crowd of women for their punishment, not costing the tax-payer millions to keep iin a glorified holiday camp.

YeAH you're right he deserves to rot in jail, but am still gutted he failed in his bid because satan would have got his seed back, one less for our society to worry about, he would have got out one day or another, he would have been pardoned as an old man becuse our judicial system is f'd , coz there's no space in prison's these days.

I agree!!!
He shud never b given the chance to kill himself. Why shud his suffering end when the 2 girls families will never stop suffering.
I dont mind how much we have to pay to keep him alive and make his life a living hell.
He deserves it!!!

I quite agree with what you say BUT..... if he wants to leave this life ... put him in another prison ... his life w on't last long.... and another way of looking at it ..... we .... don't have to keep him any more!!! One less we have to pay for .... 3 meals a day etc. He should have been HUNG....DRAWN...and QUARTED!!!!... but that's my opinion.....
