is it a classic (base model) or touring or limited or a gt?
If is a base model then yes it is too much but it is a touring then it is puching being too much but if it is a limited or a gt then no that is pretty good. Go to yahoo autos and do a seardch for used PT cruisers and see what you come up with for the prices.
the average gasmilage is anywhere from 21-24 city miles and 25-28 highway miles. I get about 23 city miles per gallon and about 26 highway miles per gallon. They don't get the best gasmilage but they are a great vechile. They are good to travel in, very comfortable. I have had mine for over a year now, its a limited edition and I absolutely love it.

that's a decent deal. It only has 18k miles that's really great. I have a 04 cruiser and i absolutely love it. I think if u bought it you wouldn't be sorry. They ride great and are very roomy. I get 28 mpg city and 30 highway. It has a warranty too that's a good deal. My husband sells cars and he says that is a good deal. You could probably talk them down some though if u want.

The prices estimated between $11,450 - $15,350 according to the Kelly Blue Book. I don't think I'd pay that much. But just so you know, the MPG averages around 19 or a little over in the city and 26 and up on the highway. According to MSN they are safe vehicles with very little problems and the reviews are good. If you are happy with it, I'd check out autotrader.com and see if you can find anything else thatis a little cheaper. Check out http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/overview.aspx?year=2004&make=Chrysler&model=PT%20Cruiser&trimid=-1 to find almost anything you'd want to know about it.

Personally, it's hard for me to imagine spending $13,900 on a car...especially a used one, but that is my opinion and that's not the answer you're looking for. It has low mileage for the year, but it sounds a bit on the high side for a 2yr. old PT Cruiser. If it's a fully loaded top-of-the-line version, then it's probably a pretty good deal. If it's a more basic version, you can buy a new one for not much more than that. I'd definitely try to talk them down a bit.

I wouldn't spend any money on Any chrysler product, except maybe the 300m. I have heard about musty, moldy odors from the a/c, and many other problems. Try Edmunds.Com for other issues and owner reviews.
