I am the manager of a beer league slow pitch team, ages 18+. Looking for ideas to raise money that adults would actually participate in. So far i've done a pub crawl and a hockey pool. Any other effective, but simple ideas?

Host a tournament.

I've seen as much as $6000.00 cleared in fast pitch one day tournies. Slow pitch oughta bring in some good cash also. Hire a guy to sell ribs and beer there and have him give you a 15-20% cut of his take. That alone will be a lot!

Baseball trivia challenge. Have an entrance fee and a prize (take some of the money from the pool for your league).

Only other one I can think of is a HR derby

Here's a Free Fund Raising Program

http://www.clubshop.com/cgi-bin/rd/10,,refid=15/affiliates.xml

Your organization refers people to the ClubShop Online Mall, these people earn cash back rebates for purchases made in the Mall & we donate a percentage of each purchase back to your organization.
