Sweets:
Firstly there is the "Yahoo Members Directory". check it out.
Secondly if you ever use Yahoo Instant Messenger...watch out.
When online using any IM (instant messanger), avoid would be "friends" who seem too "interested". They ask simple questions like:
When's your birthday?
Where do you live?
Do you have a pet?
Do you have any other email address than....?

These questions, asked correctly could give them your Yahoo account and perhaps any other email address.

For instance, the "good ones" will start on any instant messenger by of course being "your friend".
They then progress to ask you about your pets. Common secret question on your Yahoo account.
Where you live, reveals your zip code, another question needed for verifying your Yahoo account.
When's your birthday?
THE ULTIMATE QUESTION ON A YAHOO ACCOUNT!
...for it is not seen nor changeable, but necessary to change
the password.
___30___
BLOCK these addresses, go to "options", top righthand corner, click on "block addresses", add them to your list and you will never receive another. You can block up to 500 of these pesky no counts.

There are bots that roam the internet stealing this info. Plus some of your friends may have their pc compromised by a trojan that searches their Outlook Express address book.

Well, anytime you sign up for anything using your e-mail address, you may be giving your e-mail address to someone who's going to turn it around and sell it or give it away to data mining companies.
