I was just watching a local sports station here and apparently Materazzi has spoken about the incident.........what he said to Zidane was after touching Zidane's jersey Zidane mockingly offered to give it to him after the game........to which Materazzi answered.......I'd rather have your sister's.........now unless Zidane speaks out to deny this he is beyond a shadow of a doubt the biggest idiot on this planet to lose his temper over something so comical.......and for making people believe there was so much more to it........what a joke.......any respect I had for him has gone completely down the drain.........god......I"ve heard much worse at little league baseball games!!!

I agree!
This is the explanation i just heard as well. I think most everyone will be on Materazzi's side on this one, i should hope so. Zidane should be embarrassed if this is the true story. They are grown men and play a competitve sport...deal with minor comments like that!

Nobody knows for sure but Zidane and Materazzi and neither has specified what it was ; so STOP guessing, it doesn't matter,it's OVER. Trash talk is a daily occurrence. Zidane headbutted an opponent in 2001, so he's thin skinned and hotheaded. I think your absolutely right, Zidane blew it up to justify his wrong actions.

Dont you think it is enough about that episode now. Players do things like that all the time to tic of each other. Just this time Zidane could not control himself. It is sad because the two of them are good players and million of kids are watching every move they make when they are on the field. As a coach, I say to my players that if you lose your temper during a game, you only have 50 % skill left. Another thing, nobody knows what outcome the game could have had if this did not happen. A sad moment in a exellent sport.

That's the different between a RAT( Materass hole) and a world class player, King Zidane. There is much more to it than that and Materatricheur the big a** mouth knows that Zidane has too much class then to rattle on what was said.
MateRATzi is jealous of Zidane's popularity, he thought the world would accclaim him and just the opposite happened. Materaliar lies so much, remember he said he didn't know what a terrorist was. Who the heck doesn't know what a terrorist is nowadays? I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole ans so wouldn't a lot of people now.
