Part of the British Commonwealth. Free Enterprise, a true democracy. Last country to fight war with the US and win...we burned down the white house in the war of 1812. Have the longest running business in the world...Hudson's Bay Company. A government which taxes us high, but it pays for our health care...no walking wounded and trying to figure out who is gonna pay for those x-rays. The US largest trading partner. We have higher literacy rates then the US. Lower poverty, is constantly in the top 3 countries to live in according to the UN. No right to bare arms...so no rednecks with guns shooting at beer cans, gun problem we do have over 80% are brought in illegally from the US where you you can buy tampons, bacon and a gun all in the same store. We created the United Nations and are a founding member of NATO. We are traditionally peace keepers not war mongers. We have 2 official languages English and French...and that is Canada in a nut shell.

the same as the us except that we did not have a revolution - the same thing - just the settlers - wars with indians - wars with the french - the british influence - building of railroad - expansion of immigration - all the first big companies in canada where ' branch plants of the us - hence the term ' branch plant economy ' or canada is a branch plant economy of the us with no central headquarters located in canada -

the right to bear arms is not a constitutional right here so for a long time there was not a many firearms and homicides but that is increasing every year - must be the influence of living right next door to us. Also of having so much influence from the us - all out products and media is american there is next to nothing in canadian content in anything
