Haven't tried this before, but when you take your temp...i hear you have to do it before getting out of bed in the morning. Does this mean it has to be the exact same time every morning? Or can I do it at 6:30am (weekdays) and around 10:00am (weekends). These are the times i usually wake up. Didn't know if it had to do with the time of morning, or simply just when you wake up.

Wife did this, and she always did it at the exact same time, better safe than sorry, right?

I am using this method and it is fairly simple to do. You need to use a Basal Body Thermometer and yes you need to take your temp as close to the same time each day as possible, before you get out of bed(while still groggy if possible) or your temps may not be accurate. What I do is when I know I will sleep in, I set my alarm, take my temp, write it down, then go back to sleep! A wonderful website that will help you with this so much is Fertilityfriend.com...It actually charts your temps for you, tells you when you ovulate and what your most fertile time of the month is.
Good Luck!!

You have to take it the first thing you get up in the morning and for the most accurate chart reading take it atleast within 30 min (say for instance you choose to temp at 6:30, you can either take it at 6 or 7). Just set your alarm for a certain time and have your termometer at the side of the clock that way when you reach over to shut the alarm off you just stick the dang termometer in your mouth (thats what I do and I am fine with the routine now) You'll get used to it. It sounds like a whole lot to do, but it's simple really.

BBT stands for basal body temperature, which means your temperature at rest. The best thing to do is take it while you are still laying in bed, right before you get up, it does not matter what time of the morning it is as long as it is when you wake up.
