AOL is available for free at aol.com. You don't need to download a client. But, if you realy wanted to download a client, you can do it there, and it is STILL free. If you are paying for AOL, go to AOL Keyword: Billing and change your billing status from paid to free. You will have to pay for Customer Service calls in the future, but you could always go to Yahoo! Answers, and get your answers for free!

AOL is notorious for offering free service if you try to cancel. I would call them up, tell them you want to cancel and they should offer you at least one and up to three months of free service. When I tried this, I got three extensions to what equaled about 6 months of free service and I finally told them I was done regardless and to cancel me! Give it shot!
