Can i still receive unemployment if.?

I was wondering i know my boss is going to fire me tomm she asked me not to come into work tomm to meet her in her office at a later time. so if i get fired can i receive unemployment or is if i quit.

You are better off waiting to see if you are going to be fired, maybe you are not even going to get fired. I believe you can get it if you quit, but will have to wait up to 6 weeks, but if you get fired, you could collect right away. If you don't wait to see if you get fired, and just quit without a two week notice, this sometimes hurts your employment record, althou if you get fired, that doesn't help either. I would just wait and see what happens tomorrow. Good luck
