Anywhere in the mountains, the desert, forests, ocean, or jungle. Where wild animals roam or swim. No other people for miles. To me that is "the wild."

Boy, "the wild"... I think of it as a place where you can run around naked and be free. No rules, no restrictions. Lots of animals, trees and natural habitats.
I also think about what Marty from the movie Madagascar thought of as "the wild"
Another thing that comes to mind is the classic children's book. "Where the wild things are"...where the wild things roared their terrible roars and such. I think I'll go home and read this book to my son tonight. Thanks for the inspiration
