I think too soon but I don't know how you both feel about each other. This is just an outsiders opinions. I guess it depends on your ages too. Good luck if this is what you want though.

You should have a talk with your bf and express to him your feelings, let him know where things stand in your eyes and that you think a promise ring is a step too far at such an early stage of your relationship. Of course, if he doesn't give you one then you won't have to worry.

Don't expect one. That way you'll be pleasantly surprised if he does give you a ring. And yes, 6 months is too early for most guys (not all).

That really depends on the seriousness of the relationship, and his maturity level. Regardless if you think it's too soon make sure he knows that so there are no misunderstandings.
