The owner's manual will definitely have a service schedule or perhaps a few to differentiate between driving conditions. My guess is that the oil should be changed every 3000-5000 miles. You should also invest in a high flow air filter such as a K&N for a few reasons: a. They increase airflow thus increasing horse power. b. It may improve gas milage. c. Ithey cost around $50 and are good for 1 MILLION miles and need to be cleaned every 50-65k miles.
Enjoy your new car.

For gasoline engines, you generally hear anywhere from 3,000 to 7,500 miles . . . Jiffy Lubes, dealers, etc. will always try to get you to change every 3,000 miles. We've generally put between 100,000 and 200,000 miles on our cars and change the oil every 5,000 miles, give or take . . . and have never had a single engine problem. Nuf said. As for air filter, unless you drive an awful lot in dusty places, about every 15,000 -20,000 is plenty.
