Hay everyone, in my school I have to do an independand research project to get a good class rank, and since i'm a total theater buff i thought that i'd make a hand book about theater. Please read my idea and consider weather you think that this is a good idea or not, all imput is appriciated!!
Well basicaly my idea is to create a handbook which gives a history of the school's theater program, the benifits of being involved in the theater, and all the work that really goes into making a show worth while, that it's not just standing on a stage and reciting lines. if you have any imput or any other things that you think might be good please speek up!!!
God Bless!!!

Well I think its a great idea. It'll maybe get people involved and it will give credit to the hard work in the past. It's great there are so many young people getting into the theatre arts. Keep at it!

Talk to your director and get the names and emails/phone numbers of former department members--as far back as you can get them! There is no better history teacher than those who lived it. They may even be able to provide photographs of the director, the productions, etc. for you to use!

Make sure you include the work of the pit orchestra, the lighting director, and the stage crew.
