I have been on birth control for over a year, and I go in for an annual check up every year...I'm sure if the pill was doing some sort of harm to me, my doctor would tell me at my exam, and ask me to get off of it. I find the side effects kind of troubling some days, but I'd much rather have a few side effects than an unplanned pregnancy.

Birth control may have some health side effects that your doctor will look for and advise you of. It is really risky to take BC and smoke at the same time. It puts you at risk for blood clots and stroke. As risky as this may seem, having babies is pretty risky too.

Well as you get older birth control pills can cause blood clots, stroke, or a heart attack. If you have other health problems you may want to talk to your doctor.

I wouldn't take it for more than 5 years unless a doctor said it is ok

I think it is it not only messes your menstraul cycle up but it makes you get fat.not to mention its not that effective .

it can be 4 some people. my mom never could take it because it almost made her have a stroke!!!!!!!
