when the baby is ready to come out it will theres nothing that anyone tells u to do that will work unless the baby is ready good luck

there is no way to know for certain. Well with my 2nd son i had a doctor appt and it was the one at the end where they do an internal exam and the Dr. said "are you in any pain?" i was just like no not really...then he said "well...you are at 3 maybe 4 cm and completely efaced...and you are having a contraction right now..." i couldnt even feel it...but he was right...i walked home and 3 hours later i was back...he said when i got back that he would have kept me there if i had been in any pain...but w/my 1st and 3rd i was dialated like 4 cm and effaced for almost a week before they finally came

I walked around during my second pregnancy for two months 3cm dialated. I did not become 100% effaced during either of my preganancies until I was well into labor, though. I would bet you will have a new bundle of joy within the next few days, but who knows?

You can stay like this for weeks. I am 37 weeks. Last week I was at 2 and 70 effaced. This week I am 3 and 100%. The doctor still says you can stay like this for weeks. It could be tomorrow it could be weeks. It just depends on when the baby wants to come.

You could be 2 cm dialated for up to 2 weeks. It could also be tonight. Just remember the magic words of "give me an epidural".

I had my baby the day after I found out I was 2 cm dialated. 1st pregnancy for me too.

I was 39 weeks and 1 cm dialated.......I had my son 2 days later. You never know. Could be any day now.

very soon you might want to go ahead to the doctor and get checked out because you are dialating too early and they can try and stop it

COULD BE ANY TIME 2 WEEKS EARLY OR 2 WEEKS LATE. ABOUT THIS TIME I KNOW YOU WANT TO GET ON WITH THE SHOW AND HAVE THIS BABY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. GOOD LUCK.

Have you lost your mucas plug yet?
I have had two kids and within two days of losing my mucas plug with each pregnancy my children were born.
Just remember to breath and DO NOT PANIC it only makes it worse and it makes it take longer tooo!
