You're taking a lot of unnecessary flack for asking a question.
To start with you can't see them. I know a lot of the media's news leaders make it sound as though the tapes of his being stung are about to be shown at any moment.
There not.
Those are all media tricks just to hold your attention to their stations.
It is my understanding, from the news reports, the tapes are being held by Australian authorities as evidence.
I'm quiet sure I heard the tapes in question belong to the company( could even be Steve Irwins Co.) who were photographing it for some sponsored entertainment segment.
And, I'm sure at some future time the tapes will undoubtedly be made available.
It's just your basic arithmetic and our morbid curiosity in general.
Especially with his being such a vibrant, strong character, and of all things, to be struck down so basic and simply.
So,..
Multiply value of tapes + availability x dollars = mega big bucks.
A great example would be the world trade centers.
I wonder how many of those hypocrites who've made a despairing remark about your question stood glued to their TVs watching the twin towers crumble.
All that aside, the..
Bottom line here is that Steve Irwin was obviously even more beloved than anyone realized and will be sorrily missed.

The producers have not released the footage at this time and say they have not yet decided how much of the tape will be released.
On a side note, you are a very sick person and seriously need some help.

They aren't going to release it. Or, if they do, they will only release the part going up to it. They will not show the death out of respect for his family.
I don't think you're sick. That is, unless you're wanting it because "Hey, watching people die is cool!" Curiosity about such abnormal situations is common. Granted, I don't want to see it, but I'm sure there are more people who want to see it than are willing to admit it.

You can't yet. Inside Edition just said the only tape is in the hands of the australian police.

I heard that it may be airing on 20/20 or some show similar. Sorry that you are sick enough to want to watch.

You won't. Those who took the footage have all promised to keep it from public view.

You need help.
Anyway, as I understand it, they stopped filming as soon as they realised he'd been stung so the moment of his death was not captured.
