i would just like to add this,

Steve Irwin was and always will remain a great guy, it hurts me that people are willing to write things about a deceased man when he can't defend himself, i know there are a lot of people in here that will defend his name, not just for him but for his family, to all those awful people who continue to post rude questions.. Would you like to ask those questions to his wife? how about Bindi? the little girl that thought her father held up the world? or what about little bob who will never see his father again?

rest your soul steve xxx

I agree with you 100% Celia. And as far as the video is concerned, nothing like that will ever be released to the public for viewing. The only way I could ever see that happening is if Steve's wife, Terri, knew for sure that her husband would want it to be seen publicly. And the only reason Steve would want such a thing, would be to show the world that it was a terrible accident and not the fault of the beautiful creature that unfortunately killed him! That is exactly how Steve Irwin would feel about what happened.

I agree with you 100%. I just responded to a jackass who was requesting the very same thing. It is amazing how people today have no compassion. Here a man who is not only a celebrity, but also a loving husband and father, has died, and all people seem to care about is the last ounce of entertainment value he can provide them with. They ought to be ashamed. I have much love for Steve Irwin and we should all take the time to think about and pray for his family and friends. Peace and God bless.

And did you get this information personally from his family?!?! Okay then
I'll say this again to the negative judging people like you!

The King will paste the same answer and copy on answers to questions or statements like yours all day long!!

Rule one, this is a free world and people have the freedom to do whatever they want to do, that means: wanting to watch anything!!!
I would like to see it as well, But I AM NOT CRUEL OR INSANE!!! Get your facts together, because quite frankly, you don't know why people would want to see this footage!!
Thanks and have a bless day!!!

Two other last request from the King:

1.) stop judging people!!!
2.) RIP Steve Irwin- a naturalist and a real family man!

this entire Steve Irwin element became into so thoroughly ridiculous. i do no longer understand why he garnered plenty interest. impulsively he's that this great enormous tragic hero? specific, it is a shame he died, in spite of the undeniable fact that it is going to no longer have been taken care of like a worldwide tragedy.

I know if this was my husband I would not sign a release to show this footage. The children are very young now but one day this may cause them pain.

The public should be satisfied with the written details and leave this family alone to grieve however they need to.

i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

Well put I wished that everyone would let the man R.I.P. and let his family handle what needs to be handle, I don't think that these people have any respect for Terri, Bindi, or Bob they are so self absorbed and it stinks!!!!!!!!!! Please just let the man Rest In Peace!!!

I do not particularly care to watch this man's death, but I do have two points.....
1) Given his risk-taking, this was always likely to happen sooner or later
2) At least you can say he died doing something he loved... if only that was the case for all of us!
