I'm assuming that you mean you are dating a vegan or vegetarian. Because trying to take an onion out to dinner could prove difficult. And can you imagine the bad breath when it comes to the goodnight kiss. LOL
Okay kidding aside. Why is your date a vegetarian? Are they doing it for health reasons? Maybe they don't want the animal fat in their body. Or is it because they are completely repulsed by the thought of eating something that was once a living, breathing creature? If it's the first, order what you want, just try to keep the meal balanced and healthy. If it's the latter, then let your date suggest their favorite place to eat and try something new. You might find it to be a nice change of pace.

Order what you want. Most vegetarians do not take offense of what others eat, especially since she's knowingly dating a meat eater.

Man...Stop being a damned punk. Would you for Christ's sake eat whatever in the World you want to eat? Damn! No diss on vegetarians whatsoever. A good friend of mine is a Vegan and wow he is one healthy person.
Goodnight though. You sound like a scared little boy. Are you going to let that woman RUN YOU? I mean, be smart. Eat well rounded meals, don't just eat cheese and meat. Get some fiber in your diet and eat Butter Lettuce, Romaine Lettuce, Whole Grain Bread as well as raw Spinach with your salads, that's all good. Your colon will thank you later.
Just please tell me you are not going to let some woman tell you what to do all the time. I read these questions and my stomach turns to knots.
In the words of the Geto Boys "You Gotta Let You N#TS Hang!". You respect her, that's obvious. Make sure SHE RESPECTS YOU! DAMN!!!

I'm a vegetarian, so this question hits home...be courteous and check with your date to see if they're all right with you ordering meat. If so, no problem (but don't go crazy and eat a whole cow in front of them...that's disgusting). If not, just ask what they're going to order and see if it sounds good to you. Otherwise just order something without meat. It's not that hard.

Get whatever you want! Unless you're trying to prepare for marriage...in that case you still need to order what you want or you're going to be stuck eating that way forever and ever.
Now, if you just want to try something off a vegetarian menu, grilled portabella mushrooms can be rather satisfying to sink your teeth into. A good veggie burger done right can be rather good, too. Pasta is always a safe bet, or a good veggie pizza.
Let us know what you have! ;)

From the point of view of a vegetarian, I'd say it's okay to order meat (unless you're sharing, of course!), but if at all possible, please don't order anything rare. Pink is not the most appitizing color to see on someone's plate when you're kind of grossed out anyway.

Does she know you eat meat? if so she probably wont care if you DO order a big fat steak, Ask her if she's offended when people eat meat in front of her... My bet is she'll laugh at you because she probably see's everyone around her eating it... But it you're really worried, Just ask.

I'm a vegetarian and I never impose my values on others. I don't expect people to give up meat, chicken and fish because I have done so - that was my choice.
I think you should be free to eat whatever you wish and your vegetarian date should understand your non-vegetarian needs.

whatever looks the tastiest on the menu.
i am assuming that your date knows you are not a vegetarian.
if not, order the same as date, and congratulate eachother on great minds thinking alike.
if you get some, and it's good, you might leave meat behind...
or not, but it's a good strategy!
