I beleive its actually spelled "strait" as in the nautical term meaning a small passage between two landmasses (so that the ship must stay locked into one course and can't move)

They were afraid of the backlash if they called it a "GAY" jacket. But I bet there'd be less people calling themselves crazy if you threatened them with the "GAY" jacket. But then the whole rubber room thing would make more sense.
