no. westbrook will be ok. i know he's hurt but he's mcnabb's favorite target. they have a great relationship. look for a strong year with westbrook. burleson might be a sleeper. two years ago he was incredible but failed last year because he couldn't handle teh pressure as a number one receiver. he's with a better team with a more stable offense. johnson is good but david carr doesn't have a lot of time to throw with that pathetic offensive line. he'll get a lot of receptions and yards but few TDs. don't do it.

Yahoo has a cool way of sorting through player stats before the season starts. They'll project for you what they think the player will do. No idea what they're basing it on, but it's probably a fairly complex algorithm, so we'll go with it.
Brian Westbrook is projected to give you 1,750 yards of total offense (1,000 rushing and 750 receiving; by the way I'm rounding these numbers) and 10 touchdowns. As an Eagles fan I might be biased but give him two more TDs; he's going to be a factor for them this year. Compare him strictly to the running back on the other side, Kevin Jones, who should give you 1,200 rushing yards and 7 TDs (I think it's at least closer to eight but whatever) but only 200 yards receiving and maybe a touchdown or two. That's 300 yards and anywhere from 2 to 4 more touchdowns strictly out of your running back.
With Burleson you're expecting less yards, more touchdowns. Again, Yahoo's prediction is 850 yards and 7 TDs (I think it'll be around eight or nine). Andre Johnson's projections are 1,100 yards and 6 TDs. That's a tough one because he plays on a bad team; it'll be easier for opposing defenses to focus on him.
Overall, I'd say that the trade is awfully close, but it looks like you're giving up the best player in Westbrook. I have a friend who frequently wins drafts of all kinds, he's the guru of our group. He sticks to the belief that you should always feel like you're GETTING the best player in any deal, based strictly on gut instinct and not on numbers. If you look at all four guys and decide that you're getting the best one, then you might want to pull the trigger. My best analysis would be not to, though.

Yes, Brian westbrook is already banged up, and is kinda like fragile fred down in Jacksonville. Beside that with Mike martz running the offense up in Detroit, he will spread the field more. Keeping the linebackers honest and not so prone to jam the middle up every play therefore giving Kevin Jones more ample opportunities for better yardage. He is a good back. Andre Johnson is the Primary receiver of the Texans, Burleson is just a no2 receiver. Your trade is worthy for you if you accept it. Good luck.

NO.
It the end of the day, this trade is porbably a wash.
However, I prefer having players from productive offenses.
I think Seattle and Philly will simply move the ball better than Detroit and Houston.
The only injury risk is Westbrook, and he should be fine.
Hold tight.

No. Westbrook is way better than Jones and plays for the better team. burleson also plays for the better team.
To below: Burleson plays for Seattle now.

I would do that.Westbrook can't seem to make it thru a season w/out injury - and I like Jones in that new offense. Andre is unquestionably better than Burleson. Pull the trigger.

Yes. I like Jones more than Westbrook - barely - but A.Johnson much more than Burleson. I like Jones having Martz; Westbrook is too fragile.
