I hang up my tshirts on wire hangers. Just put the hanger thru from the bottom and it won't stretch the neck opening. I have a LOT of t-shirts and I hang them by color so it's easier to find a particular one. If you only have a few, fold them and put them in a drawer.

I would fold my t-shirts rather than hang them on clothes
hangers. But when it comes to pants or trousers and two-
piece suits, I'll put them on hangers.

Hanging shirts is always best...folding them creates wrinkles. No, it won't make them stretch...you'd have to pull on them or hang weights on them for that to happen. The only time I could think that something, like a shirt, could stretch would be if you hung it while it was wet. The weight of the water could certainly contribute to some stretching. But, right out of the dryer or back from the cleaners...my answer would be to hang them on hangers.

I think it's a personal preference, but folding works better for us. When I hang my husband's shirts, he gets those little "bumps" on the shoulders from the hangers. Folding keeps those away and keeps the neck line from stretching out. I guess it depends on how much dresser space you have vs. how much closet space you have, in addition to personal preference....

I fold undershirts and tshirts used for knocking around and work, but nice tshirts I hang. To avoid stretching out the collar of your shirts always start from the opening at the bottom and insert the hanger that way rather than from the opening at the top.

if you are going to hang them fold them in half and slide them halfway over a hanger. either way you go you still have to fold them to get them in a drawer. yes hangers can stretch out the necks and shoulders of clothes.

depends on the shirt.... But if you do hang them, use a plastic hanger (e.g. thick) or a hanger meant for a shirt.

I normally fold t-shirts.

I always hang up my t-shirts (BUT NO WIRE HANGERS - EVER) but I'm sure that it really matters if you have the room. Personally I don't own a bureau, so I have to hang them.

I think they get less wear and tear this way. Just my opinion, though.
