a saying is that if you drop a folk, you will have a visitor. What does it mean if you continuously drop a spoon??

In our family we say that if u drop a fork you will receive a male visitor but if u drop a spoon u will receive a female visitor; anyways, both mean that u will receive a visitor ;)

that you can't hold onto things very well...also you have hygiene issues if you continuously drop the same spoon....i would get a New spoon if I dropped it on the ground ONCE

spoons are inherently for dessert.

If you drop a spoon, then you better have enough apple pie to offer to someone else when they drop by.

Dropping a fork, means some one is bout to arrive for dinner with you.

Dropping a knife, well...it has nothing to do with food. Just expect someone to stab you in the back somehow...gossip is nasty.

i have always heard that if you drop a fork, your guest will arrive by dinnertime, and the end w/ the tines is the direction in which they come from...
as fort he spoon, i haven't heard anything about a spoon.
