Ok this girl who i dont really like was talking to me today and i listened so she didnt think i was rude and she said that the most popular guy in out grade is going with her to homecoming. I know he was kidding because guys have done this before not to her but to girls like her. I feel really bad that she actually believes they are going to homecoming...should i tell her so she doesnt humiliated in public or stood up..or should i let her figure it out?

If she is your friend than tell her.

If she's not than it looks like you have a decision to make. Personally if a girl had done really nasty things to me, I'd like to see her suffer a bit. LoL.

I think that you should mention what has happened to girls before and then see if it sinks in. Then maybe convince her to follow up on her "date" so that if he starts acting shady she will see it before time and not get stuck that night with no date. But most of all, be real with her and point out this guys inconsistency. She may get mad at first, but you can't really be her friend if you can not tell her the truth.

FIRST OF ALL THAT SUCKS THAT A GUY DID THAT TO HER!! MAYBE YOU SHOULD TELL HER SO SHE DOESN'T FEEL HUMILIATED WHEN SHE SHOWS UP AND HE'S WITH SOME OTHER GIRL OR STANDS HER UP!!! IT WOULD BE THE RIGHT THING TO DO EVEN IF YOU DONT LIKE HER!!

Tell her the truth but break it to her gently. Before you got an avatar I thought you were a boy so I said for you to ask her, but maybe you can go together as friends.

TELL HER!! You don't want her to get humiliated. Let her humiliate him. Do the right thing.

Since you are not good friends with this girl, you should let her figure it out herself. Don't sweat it, because its really none of your business.

Tell her. Even if you don't really like her, it's the right thing to do. Wouldn't you want to be told if you were her?

Just say you heard and want to give her a heads up that it might be a joke
