I've not heard a comment like the vermin one you say, but I've heard a few women describe themselves as vampires. By this they mean they don't deserve what they get.

I stand in a mans corner on this one. Beleive it or not I think men know the true meaning of love and they would do anything for the TRUE love of a woman. True love is when you look at someone from the inside, and you know that you want to spend the rest of your life making THEM happy. How many women do you know who have actually felt this way about a man? Most of them are just looking for security and they don't even realise it, then once they get that security they try to change him and turn him into the dream man, if they loved him they would have seen what kind of man he was and never wanted to change him. Men don't trust women because of this and they can instinctively sniff out a fake from a mile away (at least any man with experience of women can) but if they find what they consider to be an HONEST woman, they will never mistreat or abuse her, or call her vermin

As Germain Greer once said "women have no idea how much men hate them" and it is so true.As a man I am appauled at how men treat women and in many cases their children;what you heard tonight is common place, women think its boys being boys and laugh it off when they come out with their quips but believe me this attitude is frightenly prevelent in our society today.
Men will talk about their wifes, partners, girlfriends and even children as a burden, being too needy, crying ,moaning bla bla bla;they will ogle other women, talk about them if they find them attractive or if they dont !
I heard two young men in their early 20's talking in the bar a few weeks ago about the girl who worked with one of them,he says to his mate, well I think she is up for it but she is a bit of a scooter,so I stupidly asked him what that meant,so he told me well a scooter is alright for riding but you wouldnt want your mates to see you on it !!
Another guy I know covered for his son in law cheating on his own daughter because he was with another woman the same night;that made me so angry how he could knowing let someone treat his daughter like that.
There are so many cases like this every day,men will lie and cheat and tell women whatever it is they think they want to hear and the worst are always the best most believable story tellers.
There are a great many good men out there but an awful lot of bad ones;I just hope that gradually women will have their eyes opened and begin to realise how these guys really are and I hope for a society based on equality where everyone is judged by their actions and not their words and where people are held accountable for those actions.
I'm sorry about the rant but it is a subject on which I feel very strongly.

Some men have serious insecurity issues and take the anger out on women by slating us and making such nasty comments. They probably make themselves feel less inferior and better than they did before.
But the same goes for some women too. Works both ways.
This guy who said women were 'vermin' was more than likely commenting on how he felt about himself deep down and channelled it through his verbal splutter. Silly man. He won't get through life with an attitide like that.

While it is true for both men and women, some men have come across women who are, quite simply, inherently evil. To be fair, many women have come across inherently evil men.
Evil doesn't always mean physical violence. In this case many women play phycological games, use trickery, lies and deceit, and use their bodies to lure men in so they can use them, abuse them and throw them away.
You guy in the pub must have had relations with such a woman. I know many men that have totally sworn off women because of past trauma. No, they're not gay nor do they become gay. They simply do without a woman for the rest of their lives and they're happier because of it.

Men with those views should be ignored, I love all women ,yes, even the lesbians who have been having a go at me lately. Men who hate women may have had a bad experience but there is no excuse for being disrespectful to all because of the shortcomings of the few.

how long have you got
Often linked to sexual inadequacy, or fact that women they have been involved with would not accept their (as applicalbe....drinking, controll freak, gambling, womanising, domestic abuse, perversions, recidivism, etc).
many women do not/or stop putting up with above, and more. Too many men the reason why is unfathomable.
Sexually confident women threaten them, women who are intellignet/earn more/independent also, women who don;t aspire to being in the house, doing chores, and getting tea on the table, and waiting i bed for them coming in from the pub for a quicky,. they find wierd.
However, I believe many men are lovely, and the ones you descrive have got to learn, and get over it. Equality is for all!!!

Its not all women, some are very wonderful but the nosey, catty and controlling attitudes that some have is not the best one could hope for. A lot of women are extremely jealous too and they think their guy is humping everthing he can,Why not be more trusting until you have some evidence to be mad about, also chill out some and let your man have some fun on his own or with buds, you know its said those who can't trust can't be trusted.

You have certainly met some strange guys, I have never experienced a man like that. My thinking is that men like that have probably at some point in their lives been very deeply hurt by a woman, they are to be pitied.

I know a guy who is a complete misogynist. He seems to feel threatened by the thought that anyone, especially a woman, could be more intelligent than him. He reads the Guardian and repeats the articles practically verbatim. I don't need to read a newspaper to be more intelligent than him, and he totally resents that. I think that all this is more to do with his own insecurities than anything else.
