Why is sex before marrige so bad to religiouse people, what is the reasoning behind it?

I only agree with the first answer...lol
Husbands can leave just as well as a boyfriend, fiance, one-night stand etc.
you can have a loving relationship with someone withOUT being married. If sex is considered to be so bad if it happens before marriage, then why have my fiance and I been blessed with 2 beautiful daughters? It doesn't make sense.

It's not that sex before marriage is so bad, but wouldn't it be great if the man you marry be the first and you be his first and get to share that experience together, it is something that you can share for a life time.

It isn't just religious people. I absolutely don't believe in any kind of god.
Sex is so much more than just having a good shag with anyone who just happens to walk in to the room. It is, or should be IMHO, PART of a caring loving relationship.

to religious people u r a gift 2 ur (if ur a gurl) husband... If u have sex w/sum1 else b4 dat then its like u r giving ur husband sum of them also

Saving sex for marriage is first off, respecting your body, showing that you really care about the perosn you marry, and less likely to get diseases,etc etc etc. Need I go on?

Because you can get pregnant... and unless you have a man that you know is not going to go anywhere, you can kiss him goodbye and say hello to being a single mother on one (YOURS) income.

sex is a special gift from god and he intended for us to only share it with one person in the whole wide world---our spouse. sex is the closest you can get to god w/o dying and going to heaven and it is a big sin if we abuse his gift
