You consider your spouse an "it"?

You need to get real. How much respect would you have for a person who did anything and everything you told him or her to? It might be fun for a few minutes, but then it would be your turn. :-) What you really want is hired help or a dog. What your really need is a shrink.

Like in the Stepford Wives? No, that'd be kind of creepy. Besides, what if you got pissed and told it to go away and it never came back? You'd have to be really careful about what you said.

"it" to? Instead get a pet and train it. Christ on a stick! heaven forbid someone wants a partner with a personality and individualism. I swear, a little piece of my humanity died inside of me as I read this.

u say that..but eventually u WILL not appreciate that person. u will see them as boring, and u will treat that person like crap. they may stay with you...but that doesn't mean it is a good relationship. u may have a slave, but it's not a true, honest, honorable, and admirable marriage. =T it's one of those, "u may get what u wished for"...and end up regretting it.

Would be pretty dull if my husband and I agreed on everything, or only did what I wanted. I would be miserable knowing we never did stuff he liked.

I don't think so. I actually get bored and upset if my boyfriend does and agrees with everything I say. I like them feisty.

i don't think it's a spouce that does EVERYTHING that would make us happy...becuase even then.. he/she could still be a total as.s

i think it's a spouce that helps with everything.. that makes us happy.. becuase we're not alone, and doing things together.
