First off I have to say that what you wrote in your question is totally heartless. The man has tragically died and he lived his life as a international icon that brought laughs and knowledge to many children and adults as well.
True, I agree that sometimes the media does take things over board. I also get sick of hearing things on the news over and over then coming to the Internet and seeing it plastered everywhere.
But, just know. The media isn't covering Steve's death as much as they did with other things like Katrina, 911, OJ Simpson, Princess Di, and the War in Iraq. The media certianly can over do it and we in return get sick of too much media coverage. Steve was an icon and hero to many children and it seems everyone loved him and his love for the animals we overlook. His knowledge that he carried to children and adults is one of the reason every ones taking about him the other reason is because he's death was so tragic and sudden. I mean people suspected he would get killed man handling a croc not killed by a fish. It'll end one day soon but right now its the news on every ones tongue.
Deal with it.

he was famous and we put up with him for many years, but YOU we've just met and are already sick of.
that guy was great, you'll never come close. get a life or go outside and play or something.

Well, I totally respect him and all, but there is too many questions going on about him, he was a great guy, cut down at his prime, he was great at what he does, but we must move on and the questions should stop....way too depressing for everyone........

I have answered only one Steve question...and ranted all over it, because I too, am tired of it. I've also asked a completely silly question regarding his untimely death...simply because I could.
But the "sympathy" is getting a little thick, and it's everywhere, not just in polls & surveys.
