Sit down and ask yourself, why? Then ask yourself what is more important, your job or your health.
I would consider going on a vacation and maybe see if you can find a little homegrown. I'll tell you one thing, stress is what you make of it or it will make something of you. It usually wins. Good luck.

Have you also been diagnosed with Crohn's disease? AS is a common secondary problem with Crohn's. Crohn's is an inflammatory bowel disease that destroys portions of the digestive tract, from the mouth to the anus. Check out www.ccfa.org for more info.

I would suggest that you switch to a low fiber diet for now. Lean meat, chicken and fish, pasta, cheese and very soft cooked veggies like squash and potato. Bananas are also OK as well as ice cream, pies and cakes as long as there are no nuts or fruit.

Try to relax as much as possible when you are off the job. If necessary, ask your doctor for pain and muscle relaxation meds if needed.

AS is one of the Seronegative spondyloarthropathy..after excluding the rest of the group...and other autoimmune diseases...no special diet needed only the ideal one for ur age...
