no, only astronauts went there

space is a tiny part of more space, no edges yet

Yes, we definitely went to the moon.

I think the 4 things that make it most obvious are;

1. As Nick_s says above - how on earth would you keep such a *huge* scam quiet? With so many people involved, after 35 years, someone would have said something and the whole thing would have unraveled.

2. The Russian were watching every second of what the Americans were doing. If it was faked, do you think the Russians would have kept quiet about it?

3. NASA has large quantities of Moon rock. Um? Where did they get that from then?

4. Every day, various observatories measure the distance of the Earth to the Moon by firing a laser at a precisely placed laser reflector on the surface of the Moon. Er? Who put that there then?

Oh, and Elena, since you appear to believe it was faked, that would seem to make you one of Nick_s' "congenital idiots". LOL

As for space having an edge, or being a tiny part of something else - who knows?! Certainly not me. :)

Are you trying to get three for the price of one? Good on yer.

Some US astronauts landed on the moon some time ago.

Space does not have an edge. but it does have limits, as it is not infinite. It is however very large, and expanding all the time. This means that it is making more space.

We live in this universe, which is made of space and time, matter and energy. These are the only things we know, and we don't know, cannot know, of anything outside our universe, so we cannot know if space(or our universe) is a tiny part of something else. We don't even have any words for the something else that may or may not be there, as it would be outside space and time, as we know it.

I suppose you can think of the Universe as a closed system. Nothing comes in, nothing goes out, so we inside it cannot know if there is anything outside, what it might be, or even if the word outside has any meaning in this case.

There was no Moon landing. It was badly made film of slow motion.
If anyone is convinced of the landing then I ask why nobody else landed again since? I can't believe that if it was possible they will not try to do more with it, knowing that today technology is much better than the one they had then.
I won't comment on the space, not enough space for that here :)

I didn't realize, but read recently that 400,000 people were involved in the Apollo missions - that was about 1 in 500 of the entire population of the USA.

Just ask yourself: if the moon landings were fake, how the heck could you ever either fool all these people, or if they were in on it, how you would keep them all quiet.

Also, when you actually study the Apollo process, right from the first developments with the Mercury and Agena missions in the mid 1960s to the final landings in 1972, you realize how much time, effort and evolution went into the whole thing.

So, all these people who are crazy enough to listen to cr@p conspiracy stories, but who have never given much time to the actual Apollo story, please tell us sensibly at what point did it start being a fake? Do you believe that Glenn never went up in 1961, or the early Apollos never orbited Earth and practiced docking, or went on to orbit the moon?

At what point did the faking start switching in, which would have meant massive and surreptitious changing of millions of lines of software, tinkering with all the thousands of pieces of electronics, and all at some imaginary time when the thousands of controllers and technicians weren't looking.

And who was this army of technicians, engineers, software experts, graphics experts, electonics experts, who set up this scam without all the other thousands of experts being aware.

You don't have to go into all that cr@p about flags waving, stars not showing in the sky, landmarks looking strange - they can fool all the ignorant people who have not the brains to see that an airless, low gravity object like the Moon behaves totally different to earth. You don't need to go past all the questions I pose above.

When armed with the knowledge of the history of America in space, only a real idiot would think the moon landings were fake.

So, I say to all those who do not want to be thought of as congenital idiots, to go do the research, and stop listening to all the subversive people who want and love to find conspiracy in everything good in America (and it's not even my country).

A good start - go buy Tom Hanks mini series on DVD - "From Earth to the Moon". It is a re-enacted history of the whole thing, but combines actual footage. If you have no time to read, watch this series.

DWRHTGTTA! (do we really have to go through this again! YES, Moon landings were real.
Has space got an edge? Space is infinite, but bounded. Confused? It's confusing!
Space is very, very big, therefore not a 'tiny' part of anything else. We can see backwards some 14 billion years of expansion, space is big. REALLY.
