If you look on this site you can't but get this impression. Even if half of them are kids... I feel an "ordinary" person would be embarassed to spout all that vicious or just inane drivel. What are your views?

I don't know if I'm ordinary, but I would be embarrased to say what many say here. Do you think that us Americans have more drivel than other countries? I've never been to another country, so I really don't have any idea how to compare. This site seems to be populated by Americans as the majority, so you think if it were mostly people from a different country, you'd be seeing more tolerant, thought-provoking (and provoked) questions? Maybe, maybe not. Many questions here may be kids, really bored people looking for something to fill their time, and then there are the kookoos. I had come to the conclusion that the kookoos talk so loudly, obnoxiously, repetetively, that they seem to gain mass and quantity. You get the impression that there are more of them than there are. Maybe it's wishful thinking. I guess in the end, I figure that there are still many questions here that I enjoy answering. Many answers that tell me something I didn't know. Many more of each that confuse or enrage me. I try to keep the positive ones in mind. :)

Well there was that bunch in California marching in the streets. Yes the illegals marched around...but plz when I see the rest of the world marching in the streets...starting fires in France...passing out candy in the streets because 3000 Americans are killed...oh and lets not forget I watched a couple of guys get beheaded as a bunch of killers cut these guys heads off, while they chanted God is good. OH and while you are busy putting Americans down and running in the streets burning flags...would you take the time to send that big fat check your country got from America...in some form of aid...cuz this American does not care one bit if your people starve to death...if you are one of the few country's not receiving a check from America then you tell me who is the bigger fool...:)~...

I believe that this forum actually provides a medium for people to express themselves--and listen--to wider circles of society. (It's a good thing.) It also allows people, who might otherwise not have an opportunity to express their emotions. . .in addition to their thoughts. . .and to receive some sort of community feedback. The more the conversation goes on, the more chance that people have to grow & change.
