Depends on a lot... Is it the Z06 Corvette or a base model. What about the Honda? Is it weighted down by a system? All show no go? It could potentially have a chance I suppose. But once again, it depends on a lot.

Bro its possible let me break it down for you. First a Corvette let say a 2000, has 389 horsepower and weights 3400 lbs. and then your brother's crx has or can have 389 horsepower and weights 2400 or less lbs
( which is true just look how small it is). Now tell me who is going to win the race i put my money on the car that has the same power with less weight. Now that is theoretically speaking and is limited on many factors(the crx would have to be moderately modified like using nitrous or turbocharged) but if the crx were preped and can withstand that power the crx will win. Many people underestimate import power but dont be that person because one day you might get smoked by one . Cars that have power and weight less will always be faster just look at nascar notice why they dont have a interior or use light weight glass, so they can be faster.

absolutely.
anything can be done...and if by "all souped up" you mean a fully built (engine swap w/ aftermarket internals) and force induction (turbo or supercharger) than absolutely. Also, consider the weight of a CRX, thus why its called the "pocket rocket" it's the tiniest car on the street next to the geo metro. Lets be honest. your brother is right.
Also, i am assuming you are talking about drag racing...the agility and flexibility of an aftermarket CRX suspension can allow it to be as deadly on a road course as it can be on a drag strip.

crx with a swap and some boost will beat it with slicks. my mechanic has a 92-95 civic hatch with fully built motor...and that's it...all motor...no boost, no nos, custom intake manifold, full interior. ran in the 11s on slicks, 13s on street tires because all the wheels did was spin all the way through 3rd or 4th. imagine that in a crx.

Depends on his mods-if turbo w/vtech set up correctly there's a good chance he can at least take it off the line-but for a long haul he will be revving quite high-will take a toll on his engine.his tranny will also affect the outcome(stock versus, let's say gsr 5speed)

I doubt it. You can only do so much with 1.6 liters. Too much engine power and you'll blow up the transmission and differential.
