Tony Blair has given his resignation date. (31-05-07)
Can anyone tell me what the different will be once Gordon becomes prime minister?
Also, who really wants Gordon Brown as prime minister. What difference will he make to this already Fcuked up country?
PLUS: Gordan Brown is Scottish, shouldn't we have an English prime minister?
Nothing against the Scott's but it should be an English prime minister for an English country!

what english country would that be then..."united kingdom" as far as i remember...and who united it..james the 5th a scottish king who just happened to become james the 1st of engerlund!! in 1701 the union of the crowns..as for brown being scottish..blair was educated in edinburgh, the founder of the modern labour party, james keir hardie, was born in legbrannock in lanarkshire, Scotland. modern econimic principles were founded by smith another scot. john smith possibly the greatest prime minister never to be. of course brown would make a good prime minister he is, as you pointed out Scottish. and as for the f"$£%d up country, its bigots like you who F%^k it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Erm, are you from the UK?
Tony Blair is Scottish, and he is the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. That means the whole country and not just England. Gordon Brown, should he become Prime Minister would not be PM of Scotland, but of the entire country. The Scots had to put up with the English Mrs Thatcher and the English John Major as Prime Minister of the UK & NI, so it strikes me its the Scots turn to have a go. Stop being such a little Englander and learn something about the constitution of your own country. Now had you asked " Shouldn't England have its own parliament like Scotland and Wales?" Then I would be in total agreement with you. It should.

Look Blair or Brown is a joke. How can we trust any off them they are all in the cabinet. If they didn't have the guts to stand up against Tony what makes you think they are right to govern. The problem is we have a tony Mk 2 in Dave the Hoodie. He is as much use as a wet paper bag.

i doubt gordon will make anything different. only that dave (the tory) will get into power at the next election. but according to the times, brown and reid would get the same approval rating. so by resigning, tony is ruining the chances for a labour govt after he goes. but he said he'd go so he has to now.
and by the way, it's not just england that the pm is pm of.

I get really brassed of when the English go on about an English PM for an English country. Didn't matter much when it was an English pm for an Irish country, or an English PM for Scottish or Indian country or African country to name but a few. .
Only bl--dy matters when its not an English pm for an English country. How do you think the rest of us felt for the last 400 years or so.
