I've put together a guide for comparing and choosing prep companies at:

All of the commercial programs have the same obstacle. They have to hire instructors to teach the programs. These instructors are sharp and have done well on the test but they usually have very little experience teaching the exam or working one on one with students.

While many students do ok in these programs, I've had many complaints over the years that such programs did not offer much more than you would get out of a commercial book.

The key (and of course I'm biased here) is to find a test specialist who does have many years of experience.

Best,

I know Kaplan is very popular, but I really like the Princeton Review, and that is the brand my advisor recommended.
