I have a short list. . .
Gay men only have anal sex.
You have to have anal sex to be gay.
Gay men want every man they meet.
Gay men are all sissies.
Gay men are pedophiles.
Gay men are into beastiality.
Being gay causes spontaneous creation of the HIV virus.
Misconception? Stereotype? Often they are one in the same!

I think one of the biggest misconceptions about gay people is the fact that we want to have sex with everyone of our same sex. In a work place, military, and ect.. people look at us afraid that we are looking at them to have sex with them. Sorry, it just does not happen that way.

That all we think about is sex. Sex 24/7. We lurk behind bushes to drag unsuspecting hets into sexual liasons. Now, I have a healthy libidio, but I don't think I fantasize any more than the average straight woman. It seems that the biggest misconception is that we are not thinking, feeling, intelligent beings, but just very large glands.

That they are GAY( the old fashioned meaning)
I dont know many who are truly happy(gay)
also, that they are likely to jump on anyone of the same sex upon sight(madness)
And everyone you look at thinks you fancy them

that we are not human, that we arl have to be nice so that people don't arl think we are arl evil.
we laugh cry bleed and smile, and we have as much a right to personal happiness as anybody else. we also have a right to be miffed if we are having a rough day.

that people think its a phase and will grow out of it.i think its something you know when you are quite young you know you are different but you dont want to be treated differently.
