18 grand and 18 miles dont make ya a biker!
LOL
I respect all opinions, but I just could never see having a new one with all the gadgets and sh it on it. But then again, i prefer rigid....

I agree, but it could be my husband rubbing off on me. LOL.
He has some old Harleys, a 79 Iron Head Sportster and a 78 Shovelhead. :)
He also has a Triumph in the basement, waiting to be worked on and chopped up. That will be MINE someday!
So go for the Triumph Chopper!

After having owned one of Triumph's cars, I am not sure I would want one of their motorcycles. So I'd have to say Harley - I'll take either the Street Rod or a Buell Lightning Long.

I guess I'd go with the Triumph, simply because I have no use for a harley.

Already got the Harley, so I guess we'll go with the trump.
The Mrs. wants me to build her a trike based on one.
I never should have passed on that sweet Bonnie 20 years ago.

neither. I just don't have the time to work on a Harley or the Whitworth tools to work on a Triumph.

Simple choice I made.
2007 HD Softail Standard. Has a 4 year warranty, free towing if needed. 24 hr road side assistance. Free loaner bike.
You can beat that. The best thing is, they go up in value, but all others fall in value.
