I assume you mean the decimal value of the sum of -4 and 1/9

the easiest way to get that is to first get the decimal equivalent of 1/9

use a calculator (and if you have a computer with windows, you have a calculator in your "accessories" program folder)

calculate 1 divided by 9 and that equals .111111

then subtract 4 from .111111 and that equals -3.88889
