I've also tried putting music CD's in, in hopes that it would automaticlly open, but that still didn't work. And I have no viruses on my computer.

The easiest thing to do would be to reinstall window media player. It almost always solves the problems.

It must be corrupt. Reload it.

goto http://www.microsoft.com and download it and reinstall it
