When i saw jason earles, i thought he wuz like 15 but he's 29. ashley tisdale looks 16 but is 22. lucas grabeel is 22 but looks 16. miley cyrus could pass as a 10yr old and when i first saw dylan and cole on the suite life, i thought they were 10! i mean, if you were in my town, you'd notice a difference between shapes AND sizes of famous people compared to regular people. is this just a hollywood thing?

P.S. most "normal" guys get their facial hair by 14 but it took chad michael murray till he wuz like 24 to get a mustache! has anyone else noticed this?

Because in hollywood, the in thing for guys is to look young and less masculine than the guys that were "in" in the past. The longer and more feminine the hair, the less muscle, the smoother and more fragile the face, the better for Hollywood because of the type of female audience they target. Not all girls are into that, but thats what they show to the ones who are.

It's just like in black culture, in the past it was "In" for light skinned black guys with permed hair to be the sex symbol. Now it's the most hardcore, convict looking guy they can find to put in the media thats the sex symbol. Light skinned guys are usually the butt of jokes in media now.

And for the girls, hollywood now worships the younger females as sexy, pure, innocent, and the most intelligent. Notice in many films and shows lately, the smartest person in the show is a young female. Anyone older who has more knowledge is deemed foolish. I even see parents and children of today adopting this behavior. I've seen many times daughters telling their mother what to do, and the mothers obeying. Insanity.

Older and more mature seems to mean dirty, dumb, and stuck in the past in todays media.

its called money honey....and when your job is to look good and that's pretty much it you have plenty of time to spend in the gym with a nutritionist with a trainer with a doctor...all of that, they are basically getting paid to look good and be healthy...a lot of stars have a personal trainer and dietitian with them almost all the time while some even have personal chefs/nutritionist that follow them everywhere to make sure they eat right...these ppl are being paid to look this good and don't have stress or real life concerns or jobs so they just spend all there time being pretty and staying that way and when you are talking about the older generation of Hollywood then its usually called liposuction and cosmetic surgery that's why trying to compete or look like stars is just plain stupid.

It's called money. And makeup. Money for liposuction, face lift, personal trainers and chefs, airbrush, etc. It is a Hollywood thing... Real people don't look like that...

Hollywood people get their faces nipped and tucked so many times it's unbelievable! Don't look at their pictures, look at the facts. Have you seen Lindsay Lohan lately? She is smoking going out with any guy she meets and always hurting herself. She is falling from grace.

I know- it's crazy. I looked 2 years younger than I am, but that's not too big of a difference like them.

It's called airbrushing, personal trainers, anorexia, plastic surgery, stylists, hair stylists.
They have money, they can pretty much "buy" their looks...it sucks, but hey when you see them in person--trust me they look much different, just like every other "normal" person. They have their flaws, but have ways to hide them.

most of it's do to the large amounts of money they spend on plastic surgery and botox. It would be nice to be able to afford a personal trainer as well wouldn't it?
