They have accepted my offer, but do they have do let me know the history? Should I get it blessed? Is their such a thing as ghosts that might haunt the house? I love the house and feel relly comfortable there.

Absolutely, you should definitely buy it. Although I am atheist so I wouldn't suggest having the house blessed, I do believe in ghosts (an as yet unexplained attachment between us and the universe), as I've seen one and experienced the presence of another. Ghosts are harmless. They'd have no issue with you (if they exist in your house) and would probably leave you well alone. If you encounter one, just remind it that it's dead and doesn't belong here anymore, and it should go away. However, you'll most likely get along fine with them. The ghost at my former place of work, which was a victorian building in the centre of town, used to stay mainly on the top floor which was closest to its original state. I did hear him in the staff room playing with cups once though. His presence was a bit creepy at first, but he's never caused us any problems. I did used to look over my shoulder all the time to check for him, but they often shy away from living people. You'll have no problem with ghosts, if there even are any in your house.

If you and your family don't have worries or believes about bad spirit of the house then you can buy it. But if any of your relatives has such worries- you should think properly. After all, if there are ghosts in that house, you can make business on it ;)

that may no longer approximately what human beings think of or could do in this occasion, yet what makes you sense uncomfortable. in case you think of it could continuously be interior the lower back of your recommendations then you shouldn't evaluate the living house. If it bothers you presently and you're in user-friendly terms finding on the living house then it won't bypass away in case you progression in. Your infant will improve up uncomfortable because of the fact she would be able to sense which you're no longer comfortable on your own residence. For some human beings this does not be a controversy yet for others this is a deal breaker. the significant difficulty is the way it could be for you and your loved ones. this is an extremely own decision and in user-friendly terms one you may make. based on what you wrote and your concerns i could say this does not be the appropriate flow for you. besides the undeniable fact that this is a deal financially you will pay for it emotionally and mentally given which you will discover your own residence stressful. If it have been me i could in all possibility bypass on the living house. this is not because of the fact i could be afraid it grew to become into haunted or some thing, however the undeniable fact that a existence grew to become into taken in any variety interior my house is basically too unhappy. good success. Personally, I wouldn't. It may feel ok when you're looking around it for 5 minutes, but it may be different actually living there. I know someone who had a ghost of a woman in their house who died when she fell down the stairs and she used to sit on the spare bed when guests visited occasionally, but she wasn't scarey. if you did detect some sort of presence in your new house, you need to think how you would react and whether you would feel uncomfortable if you were on your own. I think you should also think about the possibility that you would have trouble selling the house later on.

Personally I don't see why not. Although the question is one for yourself - will you be comfortable living in that house?
I'm not sure if legally they have to disclose the history of the house. I think if you were to ask the right questions directly they can't deny the history, but then you will still need to prove they had knowingly misled you.

If you like it buy it. They don't have to tell you the history, why should they? I too believe in ghosts but I don't think you're any more likely to experience a problem in this house just coz of the murders.

If you feel comfortable that's fine. I don't know that there are literal ghosts but I probably wouldn't do that. I'm sure it would have a creepy aura or spirit about it. If I were you and you're religious I would have a priest or something come and bless it.

Did you get a discount? Remember that if you decide to sell in the future, your buyers might have the same reservations. Might be difficult to sell, but I suppose it was a long time ago, and it gets further away each year.

I would....as long as the murderer was caught and is not due for release!

If you feel comfortable go for it. You should consider if you sell it there will always be people that will be spooked by the history.

Good luck in making your decision

People commit murders not houses, if you love the place then it is the right one for you. Go for it

At least the vendors where honest enough to tell you and they must of lived there for a while without problems
