I was part of the Equine Drill Team a few years ago. I wish I would of kept the pattern packet, cuz I would of sent it to you by email.

If you are a member, contact the Director, who should have an ideal list by experience. Also, know others from other locations.

If you are the leader/director, I would recommend contacting local and state wide drill teams to gain information to gain access to some patterns.

You can also make your own up and signaturize it for special events as well.

We had a lot of fun making a few up ourselfs. It was a chance to really make our horses shine in the area's they were skilled in. Mine did excellent flying lead changes and slow lope. A friend of mine had an amazing spinner and slide stoper.

Add props and music. Show off any special talent you or the horse has. An eye catcher to audiance is things that are very risky (suicide crossing, the more horses, the more difficult, the more difficult, the more pratice. The more pratice, the more better and more applause from auidance).

You could get these from any ranch that has regular shows, or type in on google: Drill Team Patterns? and that should pull up copies that you can print out. Also, the different breed horse registries would have these for you.

Try asking at your local university extension office. They would have this information for 4-H horse clubs or could point you in the right direction.
