ok how do u find the points of intersection between two curves?? help its my homework tonight and i have no clue!

Ok the best way to answer this question is if you have the equation for both curve. simplify it into y= xm+b format, so you have 2 equation: y1=x1m1+b1 and y2=x2m2+b2
make y1=y2 so now you have x1m1+b2=x2m2+b2, assuming you know the slope of both lines and the y intercept then you treat x1 and x2 as the same variable and you will get the point on x where the line with intersect next plug in newly found x into either equation to determine Y.
note this is how to determine intersection with lines. try to adapt this to your situation.

By the use of simultaneous equations.
eg if one curve is y= xsquared + 2 and the other is 2y = xsquare - 3
solve for x and y
