Sounds quite shallow, but if you were misled, and felt uncomfortable, I'd say so, and then do the tourist thing til I got home. Go enjoy yourself....

Tell the truth and tell it RIGHT away. How exactly did you come to believe the person looked different than he/she actually looked? Was it because the person deceived you or omitted details about their age, weight, or other characteristics? If so, you should not feel the least bit guilty about saying "Hey, you told me you had a penis that was hairless and nine inches long and now I see that it is covered in wiry hair that hurts to the touch and is only six inches long. I'm disappointed and I am going home early." If the person did not deceive you and it was your own assumptions that made you believe the person would look different, then you should feel a little guilt BUT you should still be truthful and you should still leave early. Don't let this person fall even more in love with you when there is no way it is going to work on your end. Face the person, tell them you are no longer interested in being romantically involved. Tell them that it is their looks that are the obstacle. Then leave. Yes they will be really hurt and feel dejected. But so what, that is the chance they took when they fell in love. One human's obligation to another is not to keep the other human from all pain. It is only to be honest, understanding and compassionate. By being truthful and leaving early you violate none of these. By the way, what were you doing flying out there to meet your online love before you saw him/her in person live on video camera? If you plan to pursue dating online I would greatly suggest you invest in a web camera and a SKYPE account.

You may never know if their telling the truth untill it is too late. it is nice you fell in love but you need to be careful about who you talk to. it could be very dangerous. I hope you find someone who loves you so much. Thats what you diserve. not some jerk you meet on the enternet. Everyone diserves the right person. Well i hope you make a better dicision next time ( if you do it again try to keep it closer to where you live ) though hopefully there isn't a next time

Honesty is always the best thing to do...for the both of you...I am sorry but you have to have some physical attraction...If you are going to be there for a week anyways enjoy the sites ALONE...besides maybe you will meet someone else that you are actually attracted to!

I would go out on a couple dates with him first and see if your feelings changed, if not tell him the truth. Yes, it will break their heart, but better to tell them now and hurt them, then tell them later on and hurt them even more

That's what you get for wasting your money going so far away to meet some one you've never seen before. If the looks are all you are interested in, then look for someone close to where you live.

Go home - if the person lied about something as trivial as looks then imagine what big things the person will lie about - can't ever trust this person - sorry!@

Obviously, if they weren't honest with their looks, then they must've been dishonest about a lot of other stuff, too. So how could you be in love with the person?

leave...go with your first impression...no sense feeling guilty for leaving..being uncomfortable should not be an option...something obviously is not right.
