They would more than likely be forced into the work force. One theory as to why we go to school for so many years is to keep kids out of the work force. One reason is because kids should not be working in sweat shops and factories. Another reason is that unemployment would shoot through the roof. So kids go to school so that they can learn some useful things and other things that they will never use again a day in their lives. At the very least they are exposed to many topics and can find what interests them and are then able to pursue that topic.
