Regardless of restocking the population decreases by about 20% each year due
To the combined effect of all causes, including natural deaths and trout being caught.
1000 trout are added at the end of each year.

1.1.Using these assumptions, build a mathematical model to analyze the population
Growth in the pond.
a)Find the population after each of the first two years.
b)Write an equation using the words NOW and NEXT to model this situation.
c)Use the equation from part B and the last answer feature feature of your calculator or computer software to find the population after seven years. Explain how the keystrokes or software features you used correspond to the words NOW and NEXT in the equation.

find 20% of 3000. then subtract that from 3000. then add 1000 to that. and just do that 2 times which will give you the answer to a.

b is easy.

1.1- get a cerel box and stick some toiet rolls in it, glue some eyes on and put some pipe cleaner in for wiskers!
a) get your friends to do the same and invite them round for a party, see how many get prgnant in the first 2 years
b) cb*2yrs=a
c) how much ceral boxes bread in 7 years without in breading!
